PA Auditor General Eugene Depasquale held a press conference at the Capitol on Thursday, May 30th at 11am to announce his findings of his office's 15 month audit of the Pennsylvania Game Commission. The audit covered the period from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2017.
The auditor's office found 11 issues for findings and made 43 recommendations for changes and improvements. 40 of the recommendations went directly to the PGC while 3 were reported to the Pennsylvania General Assembly for possible action against the PGC. The Auditor General stated that he has never conducted a state office audit that had this many findings and recommendations.
USP supplied thousands of pages of information to the Auditor General for the audit. It is important that you contact your State Representatives and State Senators and express your concerns with the PGC management and polices that the Auditor General found.
