PGC Set bag limits for next season!

PGC (Pennsylvania Game Commission) continues to insult the PA hunters by following their failed deer program. PGC is out of control, and needs replaced. Deer management opinions by Pennsylvania Residents!

This past March in a report to the House Game and Fisheries Committee, Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) Executive Carl Roe stated the stakeholders reported that only 18% though we had too few deer. The fact is this report was based on all residents of Pennsylvania, of which 95% are not hunters. The report should be based on hunters, of which 99% of them feel that the PGC is doing a very poor job of deer management. Instead of managing deer in the interest of hunters, the PGC ignores the hunter input of information and listens to the anti hunters, Audubon, foresters, etc..

HUNTING LICENSE OVERVIEW

Contrary to the PGC's claims that our circumstance are in line with a national trend, neighboring state’s sales are identified to show our situation to be unique. Yes, hunting license sales differ state to state, and nationally there is a decline in sales, but there is NO TREND like the downward one now unfolding in Pennsylvania. Graph's that were recently presented to the governor's staff showing the serious decline in Pennsylvania's hunting license sales are viewable here.
